Cereal lovers???

Are there any of you out there?

I sure am. I’m a breakfast junkie in general, so when I find a delicious and filling breakfast food.. I just got to share.

Usually cereal’s serving sizes are anywhere from 1/4 of a cup to 1/2 of a cup but never a full cup. I like to have big filling breakfasts that will keep me full until lunch, and a half of cup of cheerios just won’t cut it for me.

I have recently found a cereal that’s serving size is a FULL cup. Yippee! And it taste like heaven, AND it has 9g of fiber AND 3g of protein. I know that’s not a huge amount, but for a cereal… that’s pretty darn good. Now you probably want to know the name of this miracle cereal, huh? It’s Fiber One’s Caramel Delights! You need to buy some the next time your at the grocery store. It’s amazing with light soy milk, but I bet it taste JUST as good with whole milk or any other kind of milk.

Quaker Instant Oatmeal Packets.

If your like me, your obsessed with everything oats and you could live the rest of your life eating oatmeal for breakfast. You also love the different flavors Quaker has for their instant oatmeal packets, but you wish they would add more oats to the darn packet. Well I have found the solution. Although you can’t go and add more oats to every packet, you can add fresh fruit, dry fruit, nuts, and what I have recently found… egg whites and soy milk! It makes the oatmeal fluffy and yummy, and it makes the serving size look 10 times more big. It is also more filling.

By adding the extra fruit or nuts or what not, you are making the meal more big and more filling, which in the end… makes a more happy you.

Some combinations I enjoy are:

- Maple & Brown sugar packet with egg whites and dried banana chips

- Cinnamon Packet with craisins and soy milk

- Any packet with egg whites and soy milk!

Oh humidity, why can’t you go find a new home.

For the past 2 weeks I have gone out for a run at least 3 times a week. At first the humidity was HORRIBLE. It hurt so bad in my lungs that I had to stop to breathe, just after running for a couple minutes. Now it’s starting to die down a little, but I still can’t manage to run for more than 5 minutes. I’m going to get a gym membership, but for the days that I can’t make it to the gym I would like to be able to go out and run. Do you know of anything to help my breathing while running in the humidity? I’m not sure if it is possible to work around the humidity besides running in the morning, but it’s worth the shot to ask.

(Without humidity I am able to run for a good 15 minutes straight, i’ts not that i’m THAT out of shape)

The First Post!

I hope everyone will like my blog. I’m a young student in school, while my mind is focusing on school work and everything professional I need to find time to work in daily exercises and good eating patterns.

2 years ago I hit my highest weight ever, 178lbs. I’m sure I went over that, it was just never recorded. For the past 8-9 months I have been working my booty off to whip my body into shape. I’m now down to a healthy 131lbs. This is a normal and healthy weight for my height and age, but i’m looking to lose 10 more pounds. Not just to lose more weight, but to sculpt and tone my whole body.

I am going to stay anonymous just for my sanity.

This blog will focus on me losing the last 10 pounds, but also helping you all become more healthy and losing the last 10 pounds too. I will post healthy tips to lose weight and exercise’s that I have found that worked for me. I’m a vegetarian, so get ready for some meat-free recipes too. :)
